Custom Stainless Steel CNC Chip Deflector for Machining Centers

This custom fabricated stainless steel chip deflector is designed for CNC machining centers and automated metal cutting equipment, where a formed shield redirects flying chips and coolant splash away from nearby linear guides, sensors and access gaps.
The inclined panel and folded side flanges help control the direction of splash, while slotted mounting edges allow positioning during machine assembly. Stainless steel offers corrosion resistance for many coolant splash environments, but the grade should be confirmed against the actual coolant chemistry and cleaning process.
Before production, provide the machine layout, mounting points, shield angle, moving part clearances and required coverage area. The finished deflector should be checked for bend geometry, mounting hole alignment and sufficient clearance throughout the machine's operating travel.
