CNC CuCrZr Robotic Spot Welding Electrode Holder for Automated Welding Systems

This custom CNC machined copper alloy electrode holder is designed for robotic resistance spot welding guns used to join overlapping sheet metal panels in automotive body assembly and automated metal fabrication. It locates the replaceable electrode tip and provides the specified interface for electrical current transfer and cooling.

CuCrZr is used in certain welding components because it combines electrical and thermal conductivity with greater strength than pure copper, although the final grade and condition must match the welding duty. The electrode seat, cooling passage and mounting interface must also suit the specific welding gun.

Before production, confirm the electrode tip specification, seat taper, clamping method, cooling connection, operating current and required service conditions. Electrode alignment, contact fit and coolant passage integrity should be verified to support repeatable welding operation.
